And you were in a brick building? I'd be under that desk as well, as I live in CA and we don't take chances here. And some of our older buildings are retrofitted.
At first, it felt like an airplane going too low overhead -the only reason I realized it wasn't was because it didn't stop. It didn't gain in intensity until the few seconds -and then it really felt like an earthquake. By that point, I was trying to lock up the computer and grab my stuff to run out.
Yeah, about 80 miles NE at work. I live about 65 miles away from it. I honestly found it amusing. My pup, on the other hand, not so much.... I found her in the middle of the living room -rather than by the door- when I came home and she wouldn't leave my side!
