I finally paid my Dress U membership and tickets for all the parties.

So, to that end, I've been planning dresses. Actually, I started planning way before yesterday. I just figured now was a good time to formally plan them out.

Titanic Party - :-) I'm planning something fun for this one. I have most of the pieces -most of which were from the Edwardian era- I just need to work on it. I'm thinking of keeping this project "secret" for now just because of the shock value involved..

"Let Them Eat Crepes" I'm almost thinking of going with the lounging Turkish style that was popular in the late 18th Century for this one. However, what I may also do is just make a new pair of stays and wear a blue brocade sack back that I plan on making soonish anyway.

Gibson Girl Pool Party This one. I'm thinking out of burgundy rather than navy. Or maybe add red stitching to the navy.

Tiara & Jampagne Party For this one, I'm considering making one of Empress Sissi's gowns. There is the stars gown that almost everyone knows but there is also one with either a black or burgundy Swiss waist that is lovely as well. I already have a tiara.

The Mad Tea Party I need to rewatch both the Tim Burton one and the original one that i loved as a kid (Alice had an orange dress when I was growing up!) to figure out what the heck I want to do and then change my mind twenty times after that. I'll probably give up and just wear my (hopefully!) reconstructed Ever After Steampunk styled Just Breathe gown.

Georgiana's Welcome Picnic Most likely, the teal taffeta dress I'm planning on making by the end of this year. If not, then my pink and green dress again.

I'll bring a few gowns as back ups and for other activities but I'm using this as a bouncing off ideas list. (And a "What am I bringing again?" list)

Dress U! Ugh, so many plans, so little time - relatively...

That's funny you mention 18thc Turkish dress; I keep looking at the print on my calendar for this month, which is an 18thc woman in Turkish costume, and thinking, "I want that!" I hadn't planned on the breakfast, but 18thc Turkish is such a good idea, I might have to steal it and actually go! :D

I have a pair of shoes already for it. I just need to make the outfit. Mine will be green and red with black and gold accents, I think. I need to match it to the shoes. :-)

Very cool! Yep, there's another costume added to the list for 2012! And you don't see too many 18thc Turkish outfits, so it'll be all Unique and Original!...except that I stole the idea from you. xD
