Mock Up Progress

Jasper thinks the mock-up is his own personal fort. I felt better this evening and figured I'd work on the gown.



The new pinking shears came today! I cut off a strip of fabric to see how the edges look.

I think I've figured out the draping of the skirt enough that it looks reasonable. I've also changed the pattern for the dress overall.





I'm happy enough with the results now that I think I'm ready to cut the actual fabric. Comments, critiques, and questions all welcome!

The pinking shears are awesomesauce so far. Yes, feeling much better. I was eating crystallized ginger like it was gummy bears. I like eating real food again.

Thanks! He had many comments. When I tried to move a pleat, the claws came out - literally!
