The not sewing progress

isabelladangeloI honestly didn't get much done today since I'm focused on getting the desktop up and running. I did make a pattern for the self trim on the gown and cut out enough for the petticoat. Once I apply that and get the petticoat finished, I'll take pictures and post them.
What I've been doing most of the afternoon is taking all the valuable files off my old desktop to put them on to the one my Mom got me last year but I didn't really play with. For Christmas, I got a 1.5TB external hard drive. (Is it sad that I recall when having 1MB of space was a lot?) I moved all my mp3s, movies, pictures, old papers, ect over to the external hard drive and then tried to reformat the old drive - which didn't work.
Both the new computer and the old computer were giving me issues. Finally, I realized that it was the main drives on each system that were the issues and took the old 120GB secondary drive and placed it in the new system. I'm now uploading windows on the old secondary drive so it will now be the primary drive on the new to me computer.
...It's another Frankenstein. Bwahaha...

Just because.
So, I should have a fully functional desktop soon! Which means I can do stuff again like play games and use a more complicated graphic design program than...paint.
Which, by the way, is what I used to make the fabric design for this week's Spoonflower contest. So, if you see "Kilroy was here", please, vote for it? I doubt it will win but it was worth a try and it would make awesome sewing room curtains. :-)
