This 1840's bodice is coming together way too nicely to NOT have an issue. There must be something wrong with it.
I'm just using this wool blend plaid stuffs that I had lying around. I originally wanted it for 1860's but it was clearly not all wool like the seller claimed. I wasn't sure if there was any wool until I started to tear it apart and, yeah, wool smell. So, there's wool somewhere in between the acetate. Anyway, it's black, white, and sort of a purply pink plaid with a gray background. Plaid seems to have been very popular in the 1840's along with gold. The good thing about plaid in the 1840's, the seams didn't have to match! Woohoo!
