Sewing!

I did sew last night - it just wasn't on the dress. I have to brief today (which is why I'm up at 0 dark 30) and I like to wear something new that I've made when I brief. Originally, I wanted to make a pair of linen pants but - since none of the patterns I have are exactly what I want- I knew that would be an involved process and gave up on that idea. Instead, I just took some lovely purple plaid cotton flannel I had on hand for a skirt and actually turned it into a skirt. yay! It's very simple but looks cute. Sorry, no pictures yet. I'll try to remember to take some this afternoon.

In related news: Jasper is going to be upset when I do finish the Titanic dress - it's been a great fort for him. :-)
