Maryland Renaissnace Festival Day One
Aug. 25th, 2012 06:31 pmI saw William Wallace!

And I wore a new purple linen Italian styled dress that I made this morning:

Overall, I was really really excited it was back. I saw a lot of people that I hadn't seen in a while and got a lot of hugs. :-) I also ended up with honey sticks (of course!), a new fairy for the rear view mirror, and just had fun. There are a few new booths and a few old ones that have gone away. I seriously want this fairy vanity set I saw but I'm sure it's at least a thousand bucks. It was BEAUTIFUL though. I have a lot of pictures up. Click on either of the above and you should be able to get to the rest of the set from there.

Date: 2012-08-26 04:43 am (UTC)Oh yes! William Wallace! I had to get his picture - he was too fabulous. :-D There wasn't a huge crowd for opening day due to the threat of rain. It did rain but it was pretty gentle and I don't melt. However, a few people must have because once the drops started to fall, people scattered - which gave me plenty of room to see what I pleased without pushing through a crowd.
