Since it's $5 a yard, I couldn't pass it up. It's stripy silk and therefore needs to be a late 18th C dress. It demands it.
BTW, Denver fabrics is actually having a decent sale for once. There is a LOT of wool and linen on sale for $5 a yard. The linen comes in some pretty decent colors (pink, blue, purple, ect) but the wool is the typical 30 million different shades of beige or blue. However, wool dyes very well so, if you didn't catch the fabric.com sale for wool, you might want to take this one up.
