isabelladangelo: (fabric colors)

On the 28th of September, I bought some fleece and 5 yards of wool. A couple of days later, I got an email from Fabric.com saying that they didn't have the wool anymore and it would be taken out of my order. Okay...

Normally when that happens, they let me choose another fabric of equal or lesser value. This time, none of that. I go to the site and...the wool is still up for sale! So, I email them on the 2nd of October to figure out what the heck is going on. Nothing. Nada. Zip.

I finally wait, on hold, for a half hour today only to be told that they will be taking the wool down and off the website since they don't have it anymore. Umm, it's been up for at least a week and you didn't think to take it down immediately? All I got was that they will be taking it down eventually and that they can't do exchanges right now. *sigh*

I get it, they are moving and moving is a pain in the backside. However, it's not difficult to take down a webpage when you have no clue what you did with the 100+ yards of wool you thought you had. According to customer service, I can order it again later. uh....no. Thanks. How do I know if you really have it or not later?

So, I'm not going to buy from them for a couple of months, at least, until they get this all sorted out. It's ridiculous to say you have something for sale only to go "Just kidding!" and keep it up for sale for a week now.
