isabelladangeloI thought if I made a completely utilitarian 1860's corset, it would be fine. However, the same stupid issue popped up. Whenever I attempt to make a corset, it ends up too big! I even cut it down from a pattern I know works length wise...and got the same measurements as before I cut it down. Oh, and the corset closes completely. Gah! Going to attempt to cut it up and see if that works.
Edit: I took a couple of inches off the back, sewed it back together, and the corset fits! Yay! Now to work on the dress.
