I need to add the straps but this is my sister in law's garb for Saturday on the dummy mummy. I was going to add trim to the top of the apron dress but it didn't look quite right. So, just going to sew it up as is.

My brother's t-tunic is out of the same plaid material as will be middle child's. However, the plaid shrunk like crazy so I didn't have enough for the two other kids' garb. Instead, I'm going to wear my Scottish outfit and the kids will match me. This is partly just so that if they do get lost (or, far more likely, decide to hide from us) we can point to our own garb for descriptions of their clothing. Anyway, everyone will be wearing plaid - I think. We'll see.

I'm horribly behind on research - which cultural style is this? I think it is lovely but don't recognize it and that is making me feel very ignorant right now.
