One more month or so of this...really...

So around 4 am this morning I woke up and couldn't get back to sleep. So I figured I'd finish up my Turkish coat and watch one of my favorite movies, Anne of a Thousand Days, since that was on. Once the movie was over, I had finished up all the button holes in the coat and went back to bed around 6:30 am. I guessed I was only going to sleep a max of another four hours and didn't bother to set the alarm.
Well, I awoke to the sounds of my Mom hammering something upstairs. I ran upstairs to see what the heck she was doing (everyone else is gone on a ski trip this weekend)and was informed she was glad to see I *finally* woke up. I inquired as to the time and was told it was 3 pm. Yes, I slept the entire day.
Now, considering I've been working the night shift for almost a year and a half, sleeping the day away isn't abnormal. What is abnormal is the fact I didn't work friday night so i went to bed at 11 pm in the hopes I'd be bushy tailed and bright eyed for the Middle Eastern event today. Even at 4 am, i thought I was going to go. However, the realization that it was 3 pm; I wouldn't be able to leave the house until 3:30 pm; and thereby not get ot the event until 5 ish made me realize there was no hope in going.
But, I had to put on the garb I had worked on for the past to weeks so here it is:


Well, at least I can wear it to Pennsic...::sighs:: I'm only on the night shift for maybe another two months tops. I most likely will get offically transfered in the middle of March and get these things called weekends and holidays back. Until then, me getting to events seems like a touch and go situation and I really hate it......

On the flip side, I did get to go shoping and got the cutest bathroom accessories for the pink bathroom. They go gorgeously with the shower curtain. I'll take a picture when they actually get to go in the pink bathroom at the end of the month.

Thank you! I think I'll have an entire new wardrobe by the time MD Renn Fest comes around; including two new blue dresses and a couple of red or pink ones.
