Garb progress and really amusing video

isabelladangeloWell, I tried to gather the Elizabethan skirt and ummm...yeah. It's getting pleated. You see, unless it's silk, myself and gathering have a huge issue...the thread breaks. I could use upholstery thread and the thing would break. It drives me crazy but it happens every single time I try to gather cotton, wool, or any other non-silky material. So, I should have that done tonight. I might also get the embroidery done on the doublet. We'll see.
Last night I got a really funny video. As I was semi searching around Youtube, I found this one:

I'm pretty sure it was part of the Army/Navy football game videos. For those that don't know about the Army/Navy game, part of the fun of the game is each side trying to produce the best funny video which, at the end says "Beat [opposing team]". They are always really really cute. My favorite is still one from maybe 7 or 8 years ago with the Subs....
