Okay, so tonight it's sew up the veil because I want to give it to Jeannie tomorrow at her party. Luckily, it's a big circle with trim and that is something I can do in under an hour on the sewing machine. Although, I might want to go handsew the trim on given all the beading on it.
I'll then finish penciling in the lines for the embroidery on the bodice and start on that. Hopefully, I can get that done by Sunday night. Then I've got to start on the partlet.
The good thing about the partlet is that it's small enough I can take it to work to sew the ribbons down.
Plans, life, this has been a good week )

The partlet edging at the neckline is clearly gold but I'm not sure about the edging along side the blue ribbons. It looks like that might be silver. Thinking back to when I saw it 3 years ago, I think it was silver but I'm really not sure. Anyone else think it's silver? Or is it just the way the light is reflecting off of gold? Any other ideas?

[Poll #1188760]

Either way, I'm sewing the blue ribbon down on the edges using either gold or silver thread to get the edging look. :-)

for those on ravelry, you probably know I wanted to make a *something* with my handspun yarn. I made a good 300~400 yards of yarn which is enough to make a *something*. I decided I liked the medieval relic bag the best and I started it on the metro. It looked like it was coming along fine. I added the second color, some nice white mohair, without any problems. I start on my fourth row for my greek key design only to discover...the entire bag is twisted. Oh yes, the entire thing is twisted in such a way the only remeady is to take the entire thing apart...again. This is the third time I've tried to do *something* with this yarn and had to take it back apart. This is annoying.
What I WANT to do is do a few rows of plain blue, a greek key in white and blue, and then Spike in white and blue with another row of greek key above that. Now if I can do things like make sure the entire knitting isn't twisted, that I cast on correctly, and have enough yarn to actually finish a project, I might get this done in June.

I put the Red Tudor I made last year up on etsy. I just don't like it. It's also too big. I might add my purple people eatter German gown up. That's a scary dress.

The veil is done. I had just enough trim it turns out. I used every single last inch. I'll give it to Jeannie tomorrow at her party.

Working on the dress now.
