So yesterday was just bad. But it was also a Monday which almost always equals bad so I'm hoping that's all it was. I've almost finished repairing Ginsie's garb for this weekend. I still need to finish repairing mine. Yes, it will only take two seconds to repair mine (sew the straps back correctly) but I'm ignoring that right now. I did take the Venetian apart on one side to start repairing that. I also hemmed up Mom's dress and punched a bunch of holes in the back. I need to sew up the eyelets.
For Pennsic, it looks like I'll get a bunch of wooden pallets for the floor. I'm getting six 4' x 4' pallets. This should make a 8' x 12' area which will fit just beneath the canvas cover for my tent. (My pavilion is 10' x 11' technically but the canvas "lining" stretched last year and puddles on the ground. I can easily make the lining cover the edges and have it so rain is simply not an issue.) What does this mean? This means I won't need to wake up every single morning and make sure the floor walls are still up and re pair them as need be because the floor will be raised. Woohoo! Now just to go find some simple boards to put over the pallets so I won't fall through the cracks...or, more likely, my earrings won't.
