So ummm...yeah
Jul. 10th, 2008 10:50 pmToday was one of those busy days where I didn't really get anything done...at all. No, really. I didn't even get to check my email until a few minutes ago.
I did take apart the dress I wanted too. I got Ginise her new haircut. I'll take pictures this weekend of her. I gathered together the books I want to bring to Novice. I'm just going to have sign up sheets for newbies to retain or see if they want to help out in the kitchen, or just look around. I did find my silver feathers and some thin white ribbon. Silver feathers on a ribbon mean they are new. Help them.
I'm not doing the scavenger hunt because, well, if I'm getting the newbies involved with retaining, helping set up stuff, helping out in the kitchen, or just doing whatever...they really can't do a scavenger hunt.
I'll have my pattern books there and I'm there to answer questions and draw very silly diagrams. I'll also have paper on hand to have newbies write down book that they'd like to get. I figure, rather than printing out a list of all the books I brought, if they write down the books they like, they are more likely to remember the piece of paper.
