Sewing Machine Angst

Of course the tension would decide that it just doesn't like me. I think I can fix it tonight but, if I can't, I do have my blue dress I can wear. I started to add the trim to the stomacher and the sewing machine went all evil on me. It's clearly the upper tension and it's really bad. So...I'll play with it.

If I can't fix it tonight, blue dress with all the ribbons now on it and pink flowers for Saturday and the red and white petticoat for Sunday. I need to finish up the jacket to match (a la this extant example) but that's an easy two hours hand sewing so...movie night tonight if I don't get the sewing machine fixed!

I'm thinking the blue cotton sateen (I think?) that I got from bauhausfrau might just work.....
