I've got to sew on the trim and that stuff but it's mostly done. This is the early to mid 16th c Italian dress. The front has lacing rings so no eyelets. The color is just so pretty! I found a couple of trims I like for it and I'll see what Mom thinks will work for the trim.

Mom is now saying she'll only come up for a couple of days, which is fine. With the kirtle, the gothic fitted gown, and the Italian, she should be well dressed for Pennsic. I have an extra cloak and other extra garb so she won't freeze at night either. This gives me time to work on my other projects....

She's coming over tomorrow and I'm taking her to project night. It should be interesting....

I'm taking my truck in to the garage in the morning. It really needs help. This should be interesting. Any reason why summer and my truck don't get along?

Thanks! I'll hopefully be able to post pictures of the dress with trim tonight.

Thanks! I bought it at www.fabric.com years ago to match some silk organza I bought Mom. The organza became a "Dangerous Beauty" chemise. :-)
