isabelladangeloI came up with, what I think, is a rather cool looking steampunk outfit the other day. I need to get my hands on a heck of a lot of either denim or velvet through to make it. I've only sketched it out and figured out the patterns so far...
I did buy some of the strechy "dress" fabric from Joanns. It's meant to be used for a little girl's dress but I like to use the fabric for tops. It's black with a cherry print and should go with my red shrug.
I need to get back into my sewing room tonight and finish up a couple of projects rather than procrastinating further. I'm really almost done. I'm just getting easily distracted lately...with things like shopping, the car, playing with my nephew...
I'm going to check out the truck I like on Friday with Dad. I figure, although it is silver (*gag* I hate silver cars. Any color other than silver would be perfect!), I can just buy a lot of car paint and maybe paint my heraldry or something like that on it. That way, everyone will know it is so my car. Okay, so the red and white fairy stuff inside kinda gives that away to begin with.... Or I could paint the entire thing pink and turquoise to really make the point...
