Some minor updates

isabelladangeloMom and Dad have kidnapped Miss Ginsie for the week. I left her with them at the beach and she seems to be having a blast according to both Mom & Dad. It would have been heck driving last night with her in the car because my brother (it was his truck) is slightly allergic to her. I didn't want to put him through that plus it gives me a week to clean and sew without interruption!
So I got back at 2 am last night or there abouts. I'm rather upset about some things at work but I just need to remember that I won't be dealing with the nonsense for much longer. (I'm going to HQ. I'm going to HQ. I won't have to deal with the nonsense when I'm at HQ.) I'm seriously considering the three month TDY to San Francisco because that would just be cool but it would also interfere with stuff like the conference I'm supposed to go to and Costume Con...and Sapphire Joust...and a few billion other things coming up this late Spring/early Summer that I'd rather not miss.
Sewing: I just need to add the bias trim to the edges of my stays and they will be mostly done! I also need to add the eyelets but that's alright. There is light at the end of this tunnel, finally! I have the dress planned out and it's far easier for me to make dresses than it is to make corsets. (My last corset took two years to make. I have no idea why. I just really am not good about sewing all the channels. Cutting out fabric and piecing it together is fine but something about sewing channels always gets me...)
