Movie Night anyone?
Aug. 19th, 2006 10:32 amOn Sunday, the Strathmore Hall is showing at their outdoor theater the Princess Bride. Anyone want to come? I can fit up to three others comfortably in my car...four if you don't mind being squished.
I saw Monty Python and the Holy Grail their last night. It was really a lot of fun. You can bring beach chairs or a blanket (I brought my Strawberry Shortcake beach chair. Yes, it's made for an adult.) And there is food avaliable on site for a little $$. 15% of the money from the food goes to benifit childrens research at NIH. The movie itself is FREE. The screen is HUGE. It's set up like an ampitheater...to which my brothers and I decided that there had to be some guy name Heridotus in Ancient Greece that was really tall or always wore a big ole hat and had to sit smack in the middle of the theater much to the annoiance of everyone else attempting to watch the play. Okay, that and we had some old guy in front of us whose head took up a good 1/5 of the screen. Once the movie started thought, he shrunk down and I could see perfectly.
Tonight is Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. It actually would be a good idea to bring a cape if you'd like to go to that. It does get chilly!
