Vacation!

One month until my next vacation! And this time....I'm going to Disney Land!!!! Yes, Disney land...okay....so it's....Euro Disney! :-) It counts! Plus, I'm going to London (can we say V & A Museum?) and taking the chunnel, first class, to Euro Disney. I'm going with my Dad (he has a conferance in London and then in Paris) so basically I get the days to do whatever I please. He agreed to stay in Paris an extra day so I could go to the Louve (i've been to the Eiffle Tower already. Man, climbing up those stairs STILL gives me nightmares! And that was a good 10 years ago!) Is my inner geek showing yet when all I want to do is go see museums?

You are not a geek!! I go to London about once or twice a year and I never get tired of the museums, etc. I went to Paris last year and the Louve and I'd go again :-) If you go to Notre Dame, across the street is a small museum that is called something "crypts". It's not the actual crypts of Paris but it is the archeological digging of the actual early Roman settlement and it is sooo neat....I also found Jim Morrison's grave and ate bunches of Crepes from roadside vendors...You are going to have so much fun!! I'm jealous!! :-)

Oh! Thanks for the tip on Notre Dame! I'd love to see an archeological excavation. Think they'll let me help? :-)

Well it has already been "dug" and you walk over a plexiglass floor etc ...it is so neat!! Here is the website that talks about it and it is under the Notre Dame information heading...
