Redecorating

I won the loveseat I was bidding on. It's up past Lancaster in PA but it's not hard to rent a U-Haul and you can't beat $20 for a velvet neo-regency style loveseat. I am getting rid of all the furniture I currently have in the living room hopefully next weekend. I decided how the living room *should* be decorated and the big old futon and two papasan chairs are just too big for my house. I want to get a couple of wing back chairs (I did see a guy selling the ones I want but he won't put up pictures of the actual chairs, just the stock photo so I'm not bidding. I'm hoping something pops up on craigslist...) and have those to compliment the loveseat. I have the perfect little endtable that will work between the chairs and the loveseat I just bought should fit against the wall.

I do need to buy the fabric for the new curtains I want to make. And sell the old curtains as well. The yard sale I'm going to have in another week and a half (hopefully!) is going to be crazy....

Just FYI - the Calico Corners outlet store is in Lancaster and sometimes has really, really good deals.

How close to Lancaster and when are you planning to come up? We could probably meet you for dinner or something.

Yep. It'd depend on the day then. But you'll be ten minutes from delicious jam! Try to find a few minutes to stop at the Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse on your way - their jams and salsas are wonderful.

I *thought* I'd be up there tomorrow but it's now looking more like next weekend. Grr. The seller wants to wait until she gets a confirmation of payment through paypal to give me her address. (I already have mine so I don't get why she's waiting for her receipt...) Oh well. It looks like I might get the chairs I want to go with the redecoration as well. A lady is selling a couple of chairs exactly like I want other than begin the wrong color (easy fix) for $45 for both. And she's just up the road from me. So even if I can't go up all the way to Lancaster tomorrow, renting the u-haul won't be a total loss.
