What the heck?!?

I figured I'd check out how to get my fairever pass for the Renn Fair this year. I've been getting one since they started the practice. I think it was $80 last year and $75 the year before...and $60 before that! This year? For all the weekends, a whopping $120. What. The. Heck?

Did someone forget to tell them about that lil recession thing? I honestly don't know if I can afford that this year. Pennsic -which is a straight two weeks plus camping- is about the same price. Unless the renn fest is up for forcing everyone who comes to dress up, let everyone set up their own tents, and having something closer to authentic food (hint, they didn't exactly have Turkey Legs in the Renaissance), I really don't see the point.
They keep screwing with the forever passes and each year it just makes me more upset!
