I lost my camera again. I'm not sure where it is this time. I'm hoping it will turn up this week. If not, I'm going to have to buy a new one and I do not want to do that. Until then, I'm using my camera phone.



This is the Turkish coat for my nephew, Marxer. I have to put the buttons on and finish the sleeves but it's almost done.

I also finished my brother's T-Tunic (green linen) and my Sister in law's gown (mint green damask). I started to work on my youngest nephew's outfit as well but I cut it wrong and ended up not finishing it due to my brother deciding at the last minute he didn't want to go.

Anyway, Kid's garb! It's a very ORANGE orange linen. I lined it in muslin because he's 3 and I was trying to use scraps for his garb. (Some of you might recognize the linen from one of my skirts. I have *just* enough to make an orange apron and use the same trim you see here along the bottom edges. ) I think I bought the trim at an SCA event but I really don't recall. The black cord was originally for a doublet I made many, many years ago that I've had lying around ever since.

So, what do you think? Good fall garb for a three year old?

Kids garb can be so fun. is the necklin big enough? some kids are very picky about necklines.
Last night I had my 3 year old in a regency dress!

It's bigger than it looks in the photo. The perspective is all funny; it's actually lying flat with the left side hanging over the end of the step. Still, I won't mind if he decides to wear it open. :-)

frankly? kids grow so fast i never finished an outfit fast enough for them to wear one.. except the HORRID t tunic i was ashamed to have my name on.. which they of course adored
