Minor sewing update

I took apart the old red wool 1860's jacket of doom I made last year and I don't think it can be saved. I see what the issues are and it's just that the pattern is a total dud. I'm not pleased but it's more out of the idea of wool going into the trash than anything else.

I was hoping to see if I could use it to make an 1840's bodice but no. Oh well. And yes, I might be in 1860's tomorrow too!

Yuck, I always feel bad about having to chuck pieces of good fabric, but sometimes there's just nothing you can do to save it.

But hey - if you wear 1860s I'll have company. Yaaaay!
