So I watched what was dubbed the worst costume movie ever and...I've seen worse. Yes, it was bad; yes, there were times I gagged and times I laughed when I shouldn't, but oh Quest of the Delta Knights still takes the cake. I don't think anything can ever dig deeper into a pit of utter costume-y/historic destroying wrongness. The Lady and the Highwayman does get an award for worst script (it's worse than Star Wars Episode 3 to me! All I normally have to do is think of that scene between Anakin and Padame that is supposed to be oh so serious near some columns and I burst out laughing ) and really random horse chasing scenes.

So, which unfortunate soul would like this horrible movie next? I'm happy to pay shipping for which ever brave soul takes this very silly (there are some pretty 17th C dresses in it, honest) movie. If you do agree to take this horrible movie, you hereby agree to watch it fully, all the way to the end, and pass it on to the next unsuspecting soul. This way, the costuming world shall know of this horror! (If you want to truly scare yourself silly, I suggest watching Quest of the Delta Knights in conjunction with the Lady and the Highwayman. That way you get "16th century" and "17th Century" wrongness together!)

I didn't get your addie? Would you still like the movie? If not, that's fine. I'll see if anyone else would like it. I plan on going to the post office tomorrow evening.

My husband and I bought that movie at Walmart...it was in the dollar rack, had a name or two we recognized (they shall remain nameless in this comment to protect the hapless) and we figured it would be fun at least.

I have to agree with you about the gowns...some of them were lovely. But OH MAN!!! It was baaaaad. I can top it though...The Magic Sword from 1962. Ooof!

I have not seen Quest of the Delta Knights...

You need to see Quest of the Delta Knights. It was filmed at the Pleasure Faire in California. I spent the first few minutes wondering why it looked so much like the Maryland Renn Fest (many of the renn fests have similar layouts and construction).

I'll have to see if I can find it. Have you ever seen Knightriders? I saw it when I was a teenager on cable and have heard since that it is based on the events that caused the split-off from the SCA that became Markland...

I wouldn't exactly say it's a BAD movie...but it IS weird. And not a GREAT movie, for sure.

Lucas should have hired better screenwriters to create the dialogue for the prequel 3 Star Wars movies. Somehow, the lines between Anakin and Padme just didn't work most of the time.
