Yard Sale Find

isabelladangeloIn between studying and thinking of ways not to study, I went to a yard sale this morning. I found a lovely lavender china set, just two teacups, two salad plates, and two dinner plates, that I immediately fell in love with. I paid $3 for the entire set.
Although the plates look to have a blue design in the pictures, it really is a stunning lavender. They are by Spodes and the pattern is called Mayflower. Yes, I already looked up how much it would cause to get the full set on ebay and replacements and needless to say, it won't be happening anytime soon. ;-) Just one dinner plate seems to even out around $50 a piece. Oh well, I have enough for a tea for two!
